Serena and Lily's Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sale Details + The S&L Pieces I Have and Love

Ever since Serena & Lily opened their store in Westport, CT (and even a bit before that actually…) The household has been sold on their fresh, stylish yet comfortable coastal style and have slowly added several furniture piece and accessories to the house from pillows to lighting, wallpaper, bedding, and more. For Your Kitchen…

I changed my mind about a lot of things in the course of planning the kitchen redo in our previous home, but our Serena & Lily counter stools weren't one of them (mine are the Riviera Counter Stools in Fog available {here})! I had been eyeing these beauties for the longest time and once I finally got to see them in our kitchen they didn't disappoint!

They're surprisingly comfortable with good back support – our kitchen was basically my office and I sat in these stools comfortably for several hours a day doing my laptop work.

At the other end of our kitchen, I had {this Capiz Honeycomb capiz Pendant} over our kitchen table – mine is the smaller of the two sizes (22.5″) so I can only imagine how impressive the next size up is! It's great lighting for dining because it gives off enough light to eat by but without any harsh glares.

I also bought {this 48″ round Downing Dining Table} from Serena & Lily for the eat-in area of the kitchen in our current home and it's held up really well:

For Your Living Room…

Adding different textures to a room are huge to making it look like more of a designer space so when we redid our family room in our previous home, I bought {this rattan armchair} and have been super happy with it. It needs a pillow on the back of it for comfort (a 24″ size is a great fit) but with a pillow and cushion it's a super comfortable chair. (I chose {this 24″ Montecito Indoor/Outdoor Pillow Cover in Ivory} and love the look:

I also have {this South Seas Bar Cart} in our living room that is well suited to its intended use as a bar cart but The household has also seen it used as a kitchen cart or (in the shorter version) next to a bed as a nightstand. I don't have a great recent pic of it but here's how it looked as part of our hot chocolate bar over the holidays a few years back:

In our current home, I recently added {this finished console} to our “circus room” (aka sun room) and absolutely love it!

It's definitely not cheap but it's such a versatile piece (for a future home I could use it as a dresser too) that I know I'll have it for years.

The other Serena & Lily addition to our sunroom is {this sofa} in the basketweave sky performance fabric. Serena & Lily sofas are made by Lee Industries which is my go-to brand for upholstered pieces that will stand the test of time. They are made in North Carolina and if you get a slipcovered piece like I did, you can have the sofa frame for a lifetime and simply get new slipcovers years down the road if the need arises. Our new sofa is super comfortable and the performance fabrics cleans amazingly well! For Your Bedroom…

The guest room in our NC home includes a bunch of Serena & Lily goodies including {this round mirror} above the bed:

And while these can be used in any room of your home, I have {this La Jolla Basket} in medium in my daughter's room for a stylish laundry basket – unlike other woven baskets The household has had they don't snag your clothes and A strong choice is the look!

And I added it in the large as part of our our bathroom redo:

Wallpaper For Any Room…

I actually wrote a whole post on Serena & Lily wallpaper several months back because A strong choice is it so much (you can find that post {here} with lots more wallpaper inspiration pics). One of the preferred wallpapers that The household has used is this Feather Wallpaper found {here} that's in in our bonus room (this is the French Blue but there's also a Fog color that's really pretty and a lot more subtle):

And I used {this polished wallpaper} to line the back of our bookcases:

And in our previous home, the wallpaper in our foyer was {this Luna stripe wallpaper} which truly made the space.

Rugs

I bought {this Alamere rug} for our dining room and it's absolutely finished:

As you know, I decorate with a mix of high and low and while Serena & Lily furnishings fall at the higher end of my budget, most of their pieces are polished, timeless, and well made. It would help if you've found a piece or two you love!
