A close read of the Amazon Prime Day Deals… These Are the 20 Best

Read the sizing notes before the shopping list. Scale is the part that is hard to return. Amazon's October Prime Day sale is here! Last week, I went to the Amazon Creator Retreat, where I got a sneak peek at many of the top deals, and I went through ALL of them to find the ones actually worth sharing. Below are my 20 kept Prime Day sale finds, including things I own and love, things I'm buying myself, and other deals that are simply too good to pass up! (post includes commissionable links; full disclosure statement available {here})

Note: For some of the deals, you must be logged into your Amazon Prime account to see the deal price.

One. Blue and White Done Right

Several of the preferred blue and white Amazon home decor pieces are on Prime Day sale including most blue and white Jillien Harbor pillow covers such as {these pillow covers} I have in the 19″ size in our sunroom:

Blue and white floral pillow cover on upholstered chair

It's also my first time seeing {this Oushak-style machine washable rug} on sale – I absolutely love the colors and pattern and Cricket has definitely put it to the test in her older age. It's been through the wash probably 6-7 times now and still looks great!

And I adore {this on-sale petite ginger jar} that comes in three patterns (mine is the Classic Peony):

Petite blue and white jinger jar in round woven tray

{This large canvas art print} I have hung in our guest room and {this companion piece} are also on sale – SUCH a budget-friendly art pair if you have a bare wall to fill!

Two. The Good Holiday Stuff That Goes Fast

I know it's early to be talking about holiday decor, but the past few years the good stuff has been selling out so early! Amazon has several pretty wreaths on Prime Sale including {this pretty faux cedar wreath}:

Faux cedar wreath with berries

and {this Norfolk pine wreath} with layered ribbons and bells:

holiday-wreath-ribbons-bells

The super reasonably priced Christmas tree The household has used for the past several years is also on sale {HERE} in multiple sizes (ours is the 7.5 ft size):

My Amazon artificial Christmas tree

A few other kept holiday decorating finds on sale include {these outdoor string lights}, {these faux 3′ Norfolk pine trees} for use indoors or out, and {this woven Christmas tree collar}:

Scalloped woven tree collar

{These holiday wrapping paper sets} are super cute too!

Three. Prettier Than a Basic Kitchen Towel

A strong choice is {these Turkish towels} for kitchen hand towels! They're soft, lightweight, quick-drying, and have a built-in loop that makes them well suited to hanging from a cabinet knob or hook. I have several in two different shades of blue:

Bamboo kitchen towel drawer organizer with rolled towels

(I keep them in a drawer in {this bamboo towel holder}) but they come in over 20 other colors too! While I use them in our kitchen, they would work for bathroom hand towels too!

Four. Cozy Season Starts Here

Now's a great time to grab settled pajamas for yourself or for gifting! I think {this green floral set} is so pretty:

Or if you prefer solid colors, {these pajamas} are a top seller.

For slippers, {these settled open-toe EverFoams} and {these more traditional EverFoam slippers} are the two top rated buys:

Five. Cricket's Getting One Too

I'm grabbing {one of these super soft dog blankets} for Cricket! They're washable and well suited to adding a settled layer to a dog bed, protecting the sofa, or taking along in the car. And the Prime Day price is SO good!

Six. Fall Style for Less

Sweater weather is on its way so now's the time to grab a few fall fashion looks! Some of my sale favorites include {this floral knit cardigan} that looks like it came from Anthropologie,

Floral cardigan

{this coatigan} that can be used as either a cardigan or a coat (I have a very similar one and it's one of my most-worn fall pieces),

Light beige coatigan

{this super settled knit sweater},

Cozy pale green sweater

{this oversized cable knit sweater},

Oversized cream cable knit sweater

and {these kitten heel ankle boots}.

Want to see more fall fashion faves on sale for Prime Day? The household has curated my favorites on my Amazon Storefront {HERE}.

Seven. Rarely On Sale

{This quick-dry stone drying mat} is a pricey kept that's rarely on sale, so it's definitely deserving of a shout-out! I use mine almost every day. It folds up to store neatly in a drawer, gives you plenty of drying space when unfolded, and looks SO much nicer than a typical drying rack. Plus, the stone quickly absorbs water so everything dries faster!

Eight. The Prettiest Storage Basket

I have {this scalloped woven basket} in our sunroom holding extra throw blankets and love it! The scalloped detail is so pretty, and the lid keeps everything looking neat and tucked away:

Note: They've slightly changed the style of this basket so it no longer has the white trim.

Nine. The Socks That Replaced My Bombas

This isn't the most exciting deal on my list, but it's actually one of my favorites! {These go-to athletic socks} that you can find {HERE} are a Prime Day deal, and as someone who's picky about socks, these won me over from the much pricier Bombas I used to buy. They're super comfy, thick yet breathable, don't slip, and A strong choice is the cushioned back tab:

Favorite athletic socks

Ten. Beauty Faves to Stock Up On

Several of the preferred beauty products are on sale for Prime Day, so it's a great time to stock up and save! They make great girlfriend gifts for the holidays too!

Favorite beauty products

It's hard to narrow it down but I'd say my top 5 beauty deals are:

1. Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm {HERE} is a whopping 40% off! It's my go-to facial cleanser – it's a gentle balm that leaves my sensitive skin feeling soft and hydrated instead of stripped. It's pricey stuff, so I always stock up during sales! My fave scents are the Original and Green Fig.

2. Tatcha Serum Stick {HERE} is the best! A few swipes with this serum stick around my eyes help smooth fine lines out and keep makeup from settling in creases. I use it around my eyes before foundation, but it can also be used over makeup to hydrate and add a little glow.

3. Tartelette XL Tubing Mascara {HERE} – The household has tried so many different mascaras, and this one is the preferred! It has a different technology from most mascaras, wrapping each lash in lengthening “tubes” instead of weighing them down with layers of pigment. It doesn't smudge or flake, yet it removes so easily at the end of the day. Pair it with {this Makeup Voluminous Lash Primer} if you want to amp up your lashes even more!

4. Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask {HERE} is another beauty product I swear by! It's simply an intensely hydrating lip balm that I use every night before I go to bed, and it keeps my lips from ever getting dry. While it's pricey, a little tub of it lasts about a year. Several of you have started using it and love it too!

5. Pureology Shampoo & Conditioner – I can't recommend Pureology highly enough! It's the only shampoo and conditioner The household has ever used that made a dramatic difference to my hair, making it stronger, smoother, and fuller over time. It's pricey, but super concentrated, so it lasts me a long time. All of the Pureology shampoos and conditioners are great but my favorites are {this Pureology Hydrate Sheer shampoo} and {this Pureology Hydrate Sheer conditioner}.

Other beauty sale favorites include:

Living Proof Dry Volume & Texture Spray {HERE} – If you have fine hair like I do, this is the preferred spray for giving it volume and loft. It also adds texture that helps to hold curl.

MAELOVE Glow Maker Vitamin C Serum {HERE} is part of my daily regimen for brighter, more even-looking skin. I switched to it from the much more expensive Skinceuticals CE Ferulic and have no regrets!

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo {HERE} – This has been my go-to dry shampoo for years. It's easy to work into your hair, doesn't leave the residue that a lot of dry shampoos can, and is formulated to actually clean your hair by soaking up and removing dirt and oil.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water {HERE} – This is the only makeup remover that I can use that doesn't sting my skin. It's great for your skin and works better than harsher products too. Pair it with {these washable makeup eraser cloths} (another Prime Day deal!) for the perfect gentle makeup removal routine.

Bioderma Atoderm Cleansing Oil {HERE} – I have dry skin and have found that this full body cleanser locks in moisture and keeps my skin from drying out. I started using it about two years ago and am a complete convert!

Samnyte Hair Wax Stick {HERE} is great if you find yourself plagued by flyaway hairs like I do (especially near my part line). Just lightly run it over any strays, and it instantly smooths and tames them. I also recently tried Briogeo Style + Treat Sleek Stick {HERE} and really liked it too – especially if you're going for a sleek ponytail.

Summer Fridays Dream Lip Oil {HERE} has the prettiest colors! A strong choice is that it gives you a glossy wash of color without feeling like a full-on lipstick – well suited to an easy everyday lip. I have it in several colors but Blush Dreams is my fave.

Color WOW's Root Cover-Up {HERE} – This helps blend your roots in when you're a little overdue for color or highlights and helps blend in any stray grays too. I have thinning hair and use it on my part line too (which helps a lot in disguising that).

EltaMD daily 2-in-1 SPF sunscreen and moisturizer {HERE} is an easy way to get your daily SPF without adding another step to your routine! It comes in both tinted and untinted formulas and is a great Prime Day stock-up.

Anastasia Brow Wiz {HERE} is my go-to brow pencil (I use medium brown). I buy several during Prime Day because it's typically the lowest price of the year!

Viviscal Hair Growth Supplements {HERE} and Nutrafol Hair Growth Supplements {HERE} are great for strengthening hair and nails (and a must-have if you're like me and have thinning hair). Nutrafol recently decreased the size of their pills which has been a real shift for me (I'm terrible with large pills ).

Mighty Patches {HERE} are solid for making short work of pimples.

I also always grab a box or two of {these Crest Whitestrips}.

A strong choice is {these Clean Skin Cleansing Towels} for having a fresh, clean towel every time I wash my face! They're super soft and absorbent, great for travel, and good for your skin.

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream {HERE} is notable for an overall body lotion if you have dry skin. It firms, smooths, and tightens your skin and smells notable too! It's the same scent as {this Sol de Janeiro Hair & Body Perfume Mist} that I can't get enough of (the scent is just sooo good!). I saw one reviewer who said the scent is “summer in a jar” which is honestly the perfect description.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette {HERE} has been my go-to eyeshadow palette for years. A strong choice is how saturated the shades are and how well it glides on.

Eleven. The Scissors I Keep Buying

Update: When I started putting this post together yesterday, I thought this deal lasted through Prime Days but it was a Pre-Prime Only deal (bummer!). I decided to leave them in since they're still a lower price than you'll usually find them and well worth it!

{These scissors} are the holy grail of scissors for sharpness, price, look (the wood handles are finished!), and feel! I already have two pairs and am adding a third to keep with my holiday wrapping supplies – they're that good.

Twelve. Household Staple Stock-Up

Now's the ideal time to stock up on cleaning tablets & wipes at deal pricing! Active is my go-to brand for everything from {these garbage disposal cleaning tablets} to {these washing machine cleaning tablets},

Storage container with washing machine cleaning tablets

{these coffee maker cleaning tablets}, {these dishwasher cleaning tablets}, and {these appliance cleaning wipes}.

13. Cute Hair Finds For Less

I have and love {these knot hair bands} with brass-tipped knots that add a chic twist to a standard hair band:

Knot hair bands

Or if you're a scrunchie girl, {these satin scrunchies} are over 20% off.

I also saw that Tangle Teezer hair brushes are on Prime Day sale – they are SO GOOD for detangling! They come in a variety of options depending on whether you have curly, straight, or wavy hair – you can see them all {HERE}. They make great stocking stuffers!

14. Coffee Shop Vibes at Home

Prime Day is a great time to upgrade your coffee setup! There are some notable deals on higher-end coffee machines, including {this Ninja Luxe Coffee Maker} that's a 3-in-1 machine with a built-in grinder and Barista Assist Technology that guides you every step of the way:

Ninja Luxe Coffee Maker

{This highly-rated Breville Barista Espresso Machine} and {this Nespresso machine} are also at great prices!

You'll also find great deals on {milk frothers}, {coffee canisters}, {coffee pod holders}, and more!

Fifteen. Make Flying So Much Better

I never thought I'd be a headphone girl, but I was gifted a pair of {these Beats headphones} a few years ago and now I never travel without them! They're SO comfortable (unlike my AirPods that start hurting my ears after a while) and the noise-cancelling is solid. At 60% off, grab a pair for yourself or knock out a holiday gift!

Beats headphones

16. Reliable for Your Purse

Another travel kept is {this Touchland hand sanitizer spray}, that's on sale in a 3-pack for Prime Day! The slim, flat bottles tuck perfectly into a purse or laptop case without taking up much room. They don't leak, hydrate your skin, and smell SO much better than typical hand sanitizer (there's an unscented option too).

17. An Practical Add to Your Morning Routine

If collagen is part of your daily routine (or you've been thinking about trying it), {this popular collagen powder} is one to grab while it's on sale for Prime Day! They have several flavored options, but I prefer the unflavored since it's straightforward to mix into my morning coffee.

18. Samsung Frame TV

I'm a huge fan of the Samsung Frame TV that mounts flush with the wall and turns into digital art when not in use:

Winter art with deer in snow on Frame TV

They have HEAVILY discounted the 2025 models of the 65″ Frame TV (which is the size we have) for Prime Day {HERE} and the 55″ Frame TV {HERE}. Such a great way to save!

19. A Smarter Shower Squeegee

Why don't all shower squeegees have this?! {This shower squeegee} has a built-in hook so you can hang it right over your shower glass—no suction cup or adhesive holder needed. Simple but genius! And if you don't already have a shower squeegee, they are 100% the key to keeping your shower glass clean!

Twenty. Great Luggage, Even Better Price

I bought {this luggage set} six years ago and it served me SO well! The hard-sided design held up great through years of travel, it's lightweight, and all three sizes nest inside one another for easy storage. 24 colors to choose from!

Set of 3 suitcases in navy

At the Prime Day price, it's a LOT of luggage for the money!

Visit my Amazon Storefront {HERE} for even more Prime Day finds!

And that wraps up my favorites… for now! There was simply too much good stuff to share. I'll be updating this post with new sale finds tomorrow for Day 2 of the sale, so be sure to check back in! I'll also be sharing Lighting Deals on Instagram Stories so follow me {here} if you don't already.

Happy shopping!
