Blue and White Chinese Porcelain Vases and Ginger Jars

Measurements come first here, because a good-looking piece in the wrong spot still fails. I have a mad love for blue and white porcelain vases and jars – placing a group of them in a room adds instant elegance and sophistication. While the cobalt blue and white color combination is a striking one, somehow these pieces manage to blend beautifully with almost any other colors in a room. I have a blue and white porcelain vase on one of the shelves in my family room – it's a HomeGoods find so it's certainly not the “real thing” but A strong choice is it nonetheless. The only problem is that it's looking pretty lonely up there – blue and white porcelain pieces look their best when several of them are grouped together:

One of the great things about blue and white porcelain jars and vases is that you can find them in so many different places and you don't necessarily have to spend a lot of money. Thrift stores, antique stores, and flea markets are great places to shop for them or, if that's not your cup of tea, look at HomeGoods or Hobby Lobby where The household has seen several inexpensive (and quite pretty!) blue and white porcelain pieces.

Are you in love with all of this polished blue and white too? For even more blue and white inspiration look at {these blue and white spring pairings} at French Kissed, {these finished ginger jars}, and {this display of Chinese porcelains}. Hope you all have a great weekend!!
