A Reliable Faux Fiddle Leaf Fig Trees
The notes below stay with placement, materials, and the sequence that avoided a redo of the redo. After sending two pricey fiddle leaf fig trees went to plant heaven, I decided to go faux, and now I'm sharing the best faux fiddle leaf fig trees The household has found!
Fiddle leaf fig trees are absolutely finished and add so much color and life to a room! I prefer living plants to faux when possible but as hard as The household has tried, I can NOT keep a fiddle leaf fig alive.
I bought a living fiddle leaf fig for the family room in our previous home when we first remodeled it and LOVED it! It looked fabulous right after I got it:

But week after week it lost more leaves and I was never able to nurse it back to health. I tried a second time with the same result and since these trees aren't cheap, that's when I knew it was time to go faux.
I checked out every single faux fiddle leaf fig on the market, and found that you get what you pay for. Here's the low-down on the best faux fiddle leaf fig trees… (post includes commissionable links; for more information, see my full disclosure statement {here}).
Most Realistic Fiddle Leaf Fig Trees
There are lots of fiddle leaf fig tree options and the best one for you depends upon what size and fullness you're looking for. These are my favorites:

Source Links: 1. 7′ fiddle leaf fig tree | 2. 21″ fiddle leaf fig tree | 3. 47″ fiddle leaf fig tree | 4. 72″ super full fiddle leaf fig tree | 5. 5′ fiddle leaf fig tree | 6. 36″ fiddle leaf fig tree in basket | 7. 66″ fiddle leaf fig tree (comes in basket) | 8. 84″ fiddle leaf fig tree | 9. 7′ fiddle leaf fig tree (mine!)
For our living room, I chose {this fiddle leaf fig tree} that's one of the tallest and most realistic options. I LOVE how it looks:

I think the leaves look quite realistic, even close up:

It comes wrapped in a small burlap base so you need a pot or basket to place it in. I put in in {this same woven basket} that I had my real fiddle leaf fig tree in:

If you're looking for a smaller faux fiddle leaf fig tree, I have and love {this one}. I placed it in one of {these baskets} next to the reading chair in the corner of our bedroom:

Still Want the Real Thing?
Not sure you want to go with faux? Home Depot is a great place to find real fiddle leaf fig trees at a reasonable price. It depends on the store but they tend to be seasonal with spring and summer being the best time to look for them.
If you want to first try your hand at a small fiddle leaf fig, you can actually buy them online from Home Depot {here}. The reviews are surprisingly good!

A small tabletop size looks so pretty on a coffee table:

So what do you think – are you going to try out a living fiddle leaf fig first or go straight to faux?
