Integrated with a smart thermostat, heated floors can also be remarkably energy-efficient, turning on only when needed and offering programmable schedules, making this a smart and cozy investment for any master bathroom remodel.
Idea #8: Conquer Clutter with In-Vanity Drawer Outlets
For our master bathroom, we opted for {this pre-made double vanity} as a cost-effective alternative to custom cabinetry. However, it’s crucial to ensure you have sufficient clearance – typically a few inches – behind the drawer to accommodate the wiring and hinge mechanism safely and functionally. Optimizing the layout for our master bathroom presented a unique challenge. However, the available space to the right of our shower was quite limited, and I struggled to find a pre-made cabinet that fit both the dimensions and my aesthetic preferences.

We utilize these shelves for our neatly folded extra towels and our washcloths, which are charmingly stored in the tasseled belly basket situated to the left of the towels, adding a touch of texture and bohemian flair.
Additionally, rolls of toilet paper are conveniently tucked away in the top woven basket, ensuring they are always within reach but out of sight.
We also store bath bombs in a clear glass jar, transforming them into a decorative display, and nail polish bottles are neatly organized in a pair of stacked decorative boxes. Therefore, don’t dismiss the potential of open shelving in a bathroom; it’s an exceptional way to gain valuable storage space without the visual bulk of a traditional cabinet, fostering an uncluttered and inviting environment. Another often-overlooked area perfect for snagging additional storage is the space directly above the toilet.
